We have a great opportunity for an Associate Community Assistance Programs team member, under the direction of the Community Assistance Programs Manager. This role will support Aqua PA's low income programs including the Customer Assistance Program (CAP), Aqua Aid Hardship Fund, Emergency Repair Program (ERP) and distribution of conservation kits to eligible customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES Assist Dollar Energy Fund and IT with exception cases related to CAP enrollment.Includes trouble-shooting accounts related to billing and/or credit activity. Review Dollar Energy Fund (i.e. CAP) and ERP invoices for accuracy and follow accounting procedures for accruals and invoice payment to ensure costs are properly recorded in budget trackers. Answer and resolve customer concerns related to program eligibility.This may involve direct customer contact or may be limited to responding to questions submitted through another member of the CR team or CX team. Qualify customers for Emergency Repair Program (ERP) assistance and submit customer's information for assistance from vendor. Qualify customers for Aqua Aid assistance and submit reimbursement requests. Process conservation kit requests for eligible customers. Support outreach efforts to increase participation in CAP. Respond to Rates/ACO to support filings and reports related to customer programs. Assists with other tasks or projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS HS Diploma or GED 1-2 years related experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Email, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely and professionally) with internal customers Strong customer service skills Ability to work well under pressure Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environment Ability to develop business relationships with colleagues from other utilities, energy assistance staff and social service agencies required
