Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in the manufacturing industry, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Business Analyst will be instrumental in supporting manufacturing operations through the application of AI-driven analytics and Azure Machine Learning tools. The role involves using data to solve business problems, optimizing processes, and aiding predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop predictive models utilizing Azure Machine Learning, implementing AI in areas such as process optimization and quality control.

• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operational teams to incorporate AI solutions into everyday workflows.

• Analyze operational and manufacturing data to detect patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

• Apply statistical techniques and analytics to confirm findings and enhance model accuracy.

• Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to transform challenges into data-driven solutions.

• Generate reports and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to present key insights.

• Leverage skills in visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau, as well as data analysis and analytics capabilities.

• Use Python programming for data manipulation. Requirements • Proficiency in Azure ML is required, with a track record of leveraging this tool to drive decision-making processes.

• Demonstrable experience with Tableau, particularly in its application towards the creation of dynamic, intuitive data visualizations.

• Mastery of Microsoft Power BI is essential, as this role will use this software to analyze, visualize, and share data insights across the organization.

• Proficiency in Python is required, with a focus on using this language for data analytics and manipulation.

• Strong background in data analytics, with a proven ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

• Experience in data analysis is necessary, with a focus on data cleaning, transformation, and interpretation.
