UPMC Behavioral Health Therapist I - NATP in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The Narcotic Addiction Treatment Program (NATP) is looking for a Behavioral Health Therapist to join their team! NATP is an out-patient based center that's specialized in opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment. We use several treatment options, including methadone, buprenorphine/ suboxone/ sublocade, and traditional abstinence-based recovery models. NATP offers treatment for concurrent psychiatric disorders through medication and psychotherapy.

Sign-On Bonus Details
1-year work commitment--$5,000
2-year work commitment--$7,000
3-year work commitment--$10,000
Responsibilities:
Engages in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Completes same-day clinical documentation and provides necessary information for service authorization.
Periodically reviews cases and serious patient condition changes with the clinical team.
Assesses and updates patient needs and treatment plans.
Conducts new patient assessments and adapts treatment models under supervision.
Provides individual and group therapy, involving families when needed, and educates patients on recovery.
Documents all patient interactions and case management activities.
Discusses additional service needs with the clinical team and makes referrals as necessary.
Participates in treatment team meetings to review and update patient plans and monitor progress.
Maintains daily clinical productivity records.
Develops comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diverse needs.
· Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required. (Successfully completed the educational requirements as defined in practicing state's code)
ATTENTION: A COPY OF YOUR OFFICIAL GRADUATE LEVEL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR CONSIDERATION.
· One year of clinical experience preferred.
· Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM preferred.
· Understanding of or willingness to learn harm reduction models and applicable interventions.
· Experience in diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions preferred.
· Drug and Alcohol Treatment Experience preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Passed the examination required by 49.11. relating to licensure examination Must sign a license agreement and be actively working to obtain the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), or Licensed Family Marriage Therapist (LMFT) within 30 months of hire.
