Adecco Staffing is seeking a Bank Teller to work for a Credit Union Bank on the North Shore of Downtown Pittsburgh, PA. This position is a temporary to hire. Please Apply Now!

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Bank Teller provides outstanding service and promoting Credit Union products and services in support of member’s needs and credit union sales plan, handling cash transactions efficiently and responding to member inquiries. The incumbent will work hard to build the relationship between the member and Credit Union.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide prompt, professional service that meets the service standards defined by Credit Union.

2. Open, maintain and close all Credit Union products in a timely manner.

3. Handle cash and check deposits/withdrawals properly and efficiently.

4. Issue Cashier’s Checks and Money Orders upon request.

5. Perform basic member service transactions-order temporary debit cards and handle check orders.

6. Adhere to all Credit Union policies and procedures.

7. Balance daily teller work accurately and neatly every day.

8. Prepares correspondence to members in response to inquiries, transactions, or products.

9. Performs all functions in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Pleasant and neat appearance.

2. Good communication skills.

3. Good organizational skills.

4. Ability to acquire and pass on accurate information; ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals.

5. Ability to speak effectively with members or employees of the organization.

6. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Preferred Experience

1. Previous banking/credit union experience as a Teller, MRS or related department

2. Has met sales goals in retail or banking environment.

Education/Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent

Computer Skills:

1. Basic Computer skills

2. Computer literate \"a plus\" (Microsoft Word and Excel).
