University of Pittsburgh Assistant Professor, Department of Neurobiology- Full-Time in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The Department of Neurobiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the Pittsburgh Center for Pain Research invites applications from outstanding candidates for a tenure-track assistant professor position who studies the neural circuits that underlie pain. We are particularly interested in candidates employing systems-level analysis and computational approaches to their research. We are seeking an energetic and collaborative individual who will develop and maintain an innovative, externally funded research program to tackle important questions in the neurobiology of pain.

The appointment will be in the Department of Neurobiology - https://neurobio.pitt.edu/ at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine - https://www.medschool.pitt.edu/. Applicants at all levels of advancement are welcome. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Neuroscience or related field and have demonstrated excellence in research.
