Hatch is looking for an Assistant Construction Manager / Project Engineer to support ongoing projects in various locations across the USA region. This position reports to the Senior Construction Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Contract administration: manage submittals, RFIs, contractor payment applications, and punchlists

• Conduct meetings and prepare meeting minutes

• Assist with field planning and oversight

• Cost tracking

• Use of web based systems such as eBuilder and FieldMaps

• Help resolve construction issues

Qualifications:

• A recent or soon to be graduated with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

• In good academic standing

• Extracurricular involvement, enthusiastic and ambitious

• Self-motivated with good organizational capability

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Demonstrated teamwork skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Perform assignments related to your sector

• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects

• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications

• Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects

• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
