    Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant – Records Clerk is responsible for assisting program leadership in compliance with external licensing agencies and regulatory requirements related to admissions and discharges. The position will perform assigned clerical duties, data entry and assistance to the program in maintaining student records.

Essential Responsibilities

  • maintenance of records on all medications and first aid supplies dispensed on the premises;

  • maintenance and updates of student records

  • maintenance of student IEP schedules

  • tracking, maintaining and reporting various schedules of activities for the program

  • regular use of electronic health record (EHR), student information system (Power School) and other computer programs

  • data entry, word processing, receptionist and other office duties as assigned

    Qualifications

  • Clearances. State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.

  • Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.

    Working Conditions

  • Physical Demands. This position requires a moderate to high level of physical activity. Employee must meet minimum requirements for Hearing, Speech and Vision.

  • High School or better

Experience

  • Proficiency in information systems technology, including MS Office and Electronic Health Record (EHR)
