Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Physics is seeking a Part-Time Adjunct Instructor for the Physics Department. This is a temporary part-time staff appointment. The candidate will teach: Fall Semester 33-761: Classical Electrodynamics I Spring Semester 33-115: Physics for Future Presidents 33-152: Matter and Interactions II
Qualifications
Qualifications: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Physics required; 3-5 years of experience in classroom lecturing is preferred with a strong preference for those familiar with coursework at Carnegie Mellon University as the courses taught must conform to the content and standards of classes at our institution as these classes are often prerequisites for courses later in the student's degree program.
