Robert Half Senior HR Generalist in Pittsburgh, Massachusetts

Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist. As part of our team, you will be responsible for various HR functions such as onboarding new employees, managing employee status updates, and handling leave of absences, among other duties. This is a contract position, and the selected candidate will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our HR policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the onboarding process for new employees ensuring a smooth transition into the company

• Manage employee status changes in a timely and accurate manner

• Uphold general HR rules and knowledge to maintain a compliant and efficient workplace

• Handle leave of absences, ensuring all procedures are followed and records are kept accurately

• Oversee the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) process, ensuring compliance

• Manage offboarding, terminations, and exit interviews, providing a respectful and professional experience for departing employees

• Ensure compliance and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reporting, maintaining accurate records and reports

• Conduct regular employee record clean-up, ensuring all records are up to date and accurate

• Use Bamboo to manage HR functions

• Handle employee relations matters, providing solutions and mediation when necessary

• Oversee compensation administration and benefit functions, ensuring employees receive their entitled benefits and compensation.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of HR Compliance

• Proven experience in Employee Relations

• Familiarity with Bamboo HR software

• Knowledge of Leave of Absence management

• Experience in handling employee Terminations

• Ability to conduct Exit Interviews effectively

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an HR Generalist

• Experience in managing Benefits Functions

• Expertise in Compensation Administration
