Job Summary:\ The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems, with a key focus on welding and fabrication tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure that all machinery and equipment function efficiently, while also contributing to process improvements across the facility. This position requires hands-on work with welding and strong mechanical aptitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, machines, and systems.
• Utilize welding skills for the fabrication and repair of metal structures, components, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues within the facility.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to design and fabricate custom parts or modify existing equipment as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues before breakdowns occur.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards while performing maintenance and welding tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and minimize downtime.
