United Methodist Communities is currently seeking an Assisted Living Staffing Coordinator for our Pitman Community.

United Methodist Communities in Gloucester County, a senior community in Pitman New Jersey, is truly integrated into the life of the town. We are part of a beautiful residential neighborhood, near to highways and public transportation with easy access to both Philadelphia as well as the Jersey Shore.

The Assisted Living Staffing Coordinator provides staffing services to Healthcare and/or Assisted Living.

Responsibilities of an Assisted Living Staffing Coordinator:

  • Meets communities staffing needs by: Complete monthly nursing schedule-coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units. Attempt to find replacements as necessary in the event of absenteeism. Consult with nursing department staff and supervisors. Complete and post work sheets/time schedules timely. Work with ARD when scheduling modified work duty associates in accordance with work restrictions and UMC policy. Track and coordinate PTO requests. Maintain all assignment sheets and other records accurately and in a well-organized manner. Prepares payroll and keeps payroll records. Keep department attendance records.

  • Provides organization of supplies by: Maintains supply inventory and verifies inventory levels by checking shelves, notifies supervisor as to replacement needs or places orders as appropriate. Contacts approved vendors to reorder routine supplies and processes paperwork related to supply requests. Places inventory items in the proper location, rotate stock and remove outdated products. Labels and restocks resident items appropriately. Responsible to order, distribute and maintain supplies and equipment for continuous and timely resident care related services.

    Requirements for an Assisted Living Staffing Coordinator:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.

  • 1 year Long-Term Care/Assisted Living experience with staffing preferred
