This Role Will Require:

  • Support global LIMS implementations and provide on-going support to end users to drive capabilities.

  • Become functional/technical expert on LIMS and Biovia eLN archive (system features, system functionality, access/security controls, master data and understanding of the business processes these systems support)

  • Partner with GIT and end users to design, test and implement new features and that legacy systems are decommissioned properly to preserve data integrity and searching

  • Be a liaison between the end Users and GIT: Champion the needs of Global Technology to GIT Perform System Administrator duties as needed (set up new users, manage security roles, provide training etc)

Responsibilities:

  • Project support for new IT Grid requests - work with GIT to execute detailed (day to day) plans/timelines

  • Execute end to end system testing to evaluate functionality and performance

  • Partner with IT to identify workable solutions to problems, monitor and resolve system issues

  • Write user requirements based on input from team into clear IT deliverables to build a successful system

  • Write FDA validation documentation (Validation Plans, IQ, IQ, PQ protocols, write or execute test scripts etc)

  • Develop end user training materials w/input from team, deliver training to end users

  • Understand and administer global security access & roles

  • For new systems, perform basic System Administrator duties (set up new users, manage security roles, provide training etc) until system is stable and duties can be handed over to GS&S India support team

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Sciences, Informatics, Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant background

  • 3+ Years of experience in business process analysis / business process design activities and concepts preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills a must (e.g. Excel Pivot tables, V Look Up, Google etc, experience with SAP or LIMS preferred)

  • Problem solving skills - use logic & reasoning to identify the strengths & weaknesses of alternative solutions to problems

  • Assess & mitigate impact on the business process and end users

  • Determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions can affect outcomes

  • Expertise in system design, testing, implementation, FDA validation and GIT’s 5 step methodology

  • Expertise in developing & delivering end user training

  • Ability to execute end to end testing of the software and processes to evaluate proper functionality and performance

  • Use expertise to test for features / look for hidden issues not be part of the standard test script

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $91,000.00 - $114,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.

  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements

  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually

  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually

  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year

  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
