Description:

A top TV Provider in the NYMA is in need of Auto CAD Designers to improve Fiber Optic pathways so costumers can get fast Internet speeds across the market. The ideal candidate has a background in Outside Plant, HFC, CATV, Etc. We are open to candidates that want to get into Outside Plant design but you must have a good understand of Auto CAD and computers. This is a HYBRID position. Mondays and Fridays are remote, in office Tuesday though Thursday.

• Will be tasked with receiving and reviewing designs from vendors

• Q/C Design engineer will utilize Workfront project management system to update project results

• Q/C Design engineer will use MS Excel to complete and update spreadsheets

• Q/C Design engineer will utilize design programs such as NetWin, Smallworld, AutoCAD

• Provide comprehensive update of project as need it

Looking for QC design technician who can support OSP design for a CATV provider, experience with design HFC or Fiber performing quality control for the design team to ensure the design being received are accurate and done properly to client standards

• Understanding of OSP network for CATV and Fiber builds

• Must be able to present reports and analysis to management

• Knowledge of basic design calculations for HFC and FTTP design/construction specifications
