Job Title: PLC Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PLC Technician to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PLC systems, working with 24V control systems, performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical issues, and reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals. The role also involves collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimize machine performance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and accurately documenting all maintenance and repair activities.
Essential Skills
Proven experience as a PLC Technician in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of 24V control systems and PLC programming.
Solid mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with various PLC brands and models.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Work Environment
This role operates in a manufacturing environment where you may be exposed to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. You should be able to lift and move items up to 30 lbs. and work with hand tools and other equipment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pinellas Park, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
