Randstad is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the sign industry or custom manufacturing, with a proven ability to accurately assess project costs, materials, and timelines. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills to provide precise estimates that support the business objectives and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for sign manufacturing projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

• Project Assessment: Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to understand the scope of work, client requirements, and industry standards.

• Material and Labor Analysis: Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs, factoring in current market rates, to develop competitive and profitable bids.

• Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing on materials and services, ensuring the best possible rates and availability.

• Proposal Development: Develop and present comprehensive proposals to clients, including cost breakdowns, timelines, and potential cost-saving alternatives.

• Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to clarify project needs, address questions, and provide updates throughout the estimation process.

• Project Management Support: Work closely with project managers and production teams to ensure estimates align with project execution and timelines.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to refine and improve the accuracy of estimates.

• Documentation: Maintain thorough and organized records of all estimates, proposals, and project-related documentation.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in the sign industry or custom manufacturing.

• CASPER experience preferred

Skills

• Custom Manufacturing (5 years of experience is preferred)

• Signage (5 years of experience is preferred)

• Estimator (5 years of experience is required)
