Job Description:

Adecco is seeking a Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving Assistant to assist with handling, shipping, receiving, and organizing materials. This role ensures accurate shipments and deliveries while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Load/Unload Trucks: Load trucks, photograph loads, and ensure all shippers are signed. Inspect deliveries for damage, verify items against P.O., and pass on documentation to the Shipping & Receiving Manager.

  • Material Tagging & Location: Tag products, locate materials for production, and assist with inventory.

  • Pull Orders & Packaging: Work with the Shipping Manager to pull stock for orders and package for shipment.

  • Verify Products Received: Inspect shipments for damage, verify with P.O., and properly tag materials for production use.

  • Yard & Shop Maintenance: Keep the yard and scrap bins organized and ensure materials are covered and properly stacked.

  • Material Management & Shop Support: Assist with moving materials, restacking, and supporting production as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling preferred.

  • Ability to lift heavy materials and operate material-handling equipment.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
