ManpowerGroup Utility Project Manager in Phoenix, Arizona
Our client in the Construction industry is seeking a Utility Transmission Project Manager to join their team. As a Utility Transmission Project Manager, you will be part of the Transmission and Distribution practice supporting transmission projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and experience with transmission design and construction documents or for a related construction project as roads, gas lines or fiber. Relocation provided, market base, ESOP and annual bonus as well.
Job Title: Utility Project Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $140,000 - $200,000+ DOE total comp plus ESOP, 401K, etc.
What's the Job?
Manage, direct and coordinate all aspects of work related to transmission lines projects
Prepare proposals, assist in presentations, and participate in contract negotiations
Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs
Assist with internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, risk management, change management, and human resource issues
Participate in the strategic planning and development of sales and marketing plans and activities related to trade shows, trade journal advertisements, and customer relationship functions
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited curriculum
Minimum of seven years of utility transmission project experience with at least 3 years related project management experience
Professional Engineering (PE) registration required
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
