Job Title: Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder for the production welding of tubular products made from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The role involves manufacturing products according to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction, using mechanical drawings to set up and execute proper welding for metal parts.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding for production of tubular products in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

  • Manufacture products as per customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.

  • Set up welds correctly by referring to mechanical drawings and instructions.

  • Execute proper welding techniques for various metal parts.

  • Inspect, certify, and document welding processes.

  • Use manual and power tools for grinding parts as needed.

  • Frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and lift for 8-12 hours per day.

Essential Skills

  • Blueprint reading

  • TIG welding

  • Stainless steel welding

  • Weld purging

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Experience with 12-20 gauge stainless steel

  • Unlimited 6g full TIG certification

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Certifications specific to GTAW (TIG)

Work Environment

You will be working at various sites in the Metro area, with some work outside of the valley offering per diem. The typical workweek is 50 hours, Monday through Saturday, starting at 5am with 10-hour shifts including Saturdays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
