Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst for a 1+ month contract with a wholesale distributor located in Phoenix, AZ. The consultant will be reporting to the Controller and will be helping set up Sales Tax using Avalara software in conjunction with our customized ERP Dynamics Navision. This role is part time and will be dependent on getting information from the parent company in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Help with sales tax registration in 21 states.

• Work with system integrator to install Avalara.

• Work with the German parent company to get an eCommerce website set up and linked to Avalara.

• Determine and obtain tax exemption documentation from customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.

• Must have experience with national Sales/Use tax.

• Strong Excel skills.

• Comfortable working on independently.
