Honeywell Sr. Splunk Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona

You will be an essential part of our IT and data analytics team as a Senior Splunk Engineer. Your job will include designing, developing, and supporting Splunk applications, building complex queries and dashboards, and taking care of our Splunk infrastructure. Your skills will enable us to use our data effectively to guide our business choices. You will report directly to our Data Analytics Manager and you'll work on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the organization by leveraging your analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop data-driven strategies and solutions that drive business growth and enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have 4-5 years of experience with Splunk to manage and improve our Splunk environment.

  • Create and update complex Splunk queries and dashboards for various business requirements.

  • Manage and support daily Splunk infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability.

  • Follow and apply Splunk architecture best practices.

  • Use Splunk ES expertise to boost our security operations.

  • Employ GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, and Bamboo to simplify and automate our CI/CD processes.

  • Develop and maintain scripts in Python and PowerShell to assist automation and integration tasks.

  • Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to fix and resolve issues.

Must have

  • 3+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise.

  • Proficient in Splunk Processing Language (SPL).

  • Experienced in creating complex queries and developing dashboards in Splunk.

  • Strong understanding of Splunk architecture and hands on experience with Splunk infrastructure administration.

  • Exposure to Splunk ES is an added advantage.

  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, and Bamboo.

  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
