Charles Schwab Sr Manager, Security Development & Engineering Senior in Phoenix, Arizona

Duties : Perform a key technical role in designing, implementing, and managing cyber security incidents. Lead, build, and manage the engineering efforts of automating the security incident responses in the Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR) platform. Enhance the security posture of the organization by automating the incident response, orchestrating the security processes, and integrating various security tools and technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement automated incident response workflows, building the automation, integrating security tools, and ensuring efficient and effective security operations. Manage the team of junior engineers and analysts to deliver scalable and reliable SOAR capabilities. Help Data Protection Engineering develop controls that protect the Firm’s data and automation to aid our Security Operations Center. Articulate sophisticated technical issues to all levels of the organization.

Job Location: Phoenix, AZ

Salary: $173,673 to $258,100 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 6 years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s related experience. Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: Cyber Security engineering and architecture; Python, C#, and .Net development; Security Incident Event Management (SIEM) Appliances; Security Orchestration and Automation Response (SOAR) Appliances; Big Data & Hadoop development; and MSSQL/MYSQL administration.

We offer a competitive pay and benefits package. Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above.
