ManpowerGroup Sr Hardware Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona

Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Sr. Hardware Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Hardware Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Avionics Product Development. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Hardware Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $50-$55/hour

What’s the Job?

  • Plan and execute Environmental and EMI Qualification tests on Avionics products

  • Plan and execute Design Verification testing on Avionics products

  • Prepare test reports for regulatory compliance

  • Assist in product certification for customer & regulatory (e.g., FAA) acceptance

  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment

  • Lead obsolete-component replacement investigations

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 4+ years of experience in Hardware/Product Engineering

  • Experience in Environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics product qualification

  • Familiarity with Product Qualification guidance standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, etc.)

  • Experience with complex digital circuit design and debugging
