As a Sr Systems Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge Avionics technologies to continue Honeywell's leadership position in this space. A bit about the teams that are hiring:

  • As part of our Integrated Flight Deck Systems (IFS) group, you will contribute the design and development of Integrated Modular Avionics Systems that provide full cockpit integration, hosting technologies including Primary Cockpit Displays, Aircraft Diagnostics, FMS, Flight Deck Communication, Flight Data Acquisition, Aircraft Condition Monitoring Systems (ACMS), among other Federated Avionics Systems (Multi Mode Radio, Earth Reference System, etc.)

  • As part of our Communication, Navigation, & Surveillance (CN&S) group, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge Avionics technologies for TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System), Transponder, Radar, GPS, and Surveillance Avionics

  • As part of our Flight Control Systems group, you will develop innovative solutions for Advanced Automatic Flight Control Systems (AFCS)

  • Requirements Analysis / Decomposition

  • Systems Design

  • Model-based Development

  • Systems Integration

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Avionics technologies

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience in Aerospace industry

WE VALUE

  • Expertise across the Systems Development Lifecycle to include system requirements definition, design system architectures, systems integration, etc

  • Experience with Avionics products is of value i.e.

  • Flight Deck Displays (PFD), Cockpit electronics

  • Flight Management Systems, Flight Controls, Flight Planning,

  • Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Transponder, Surveillance Avionics, Navigation, GPS,

  • Communication Management, Radios, Radar, Earth Reference Systems

  • Aircraft Condition Monitoring Systems (ACMS), Central Maintenance Function (CMCF), etc

  • Competence to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience

  • Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.

  • Ability to adapt dictated by project changes
