Honeywell Software Engineer II - .Net, C#, Azure in Phoenix, Arizona
This is an Onsite position in Phoenix, AZ
As a Software Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design and implement software solutions that meet business needs. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products.
You will report directly to our Software Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and create testable, efficient code in a modern Object-Oriented software language for cloud-based software solutions
Participate in software architecture analysis in an on-going development project
Developer level testing for the implemented code, and debugging/troubleshooting
Generate clear, understandable component designs for peer review
Follow security best-practices and policies in developing best-in-class secure software
Interact with Product Owner to understand technology requirements/direction/changes, standards, and best practices
Interact with other developers to help troubleshoot and resolving technical issues during project lifecycle
Handle customer issues in parallel to product development
Provide regular updates and interaction for the assigned tasks

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience building applications in .NET, C#
1+ years of experience working with REST, JSON, microservices
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
WE VALUE
Experience developing software on cloud infrastructure (Azure strongly preferred)
Experience developing software on Docker platforms
Deep understanding of web technology stack
Experience with time-series databases (Influx strongly preferred)
Experience with relational databases (Postgres strongly preferred)
Experience building software with CI/CD, DevOps pipelines
Experience building software using Agile methodology
Experience working with a diverse and distributed global team
Effective communication skills
Individuals who are self-motivated, able to work with little supervision, and who consistently take the initiative to get things done
Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
