As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and delivery of goods within our organization's supply chain and distribution network. You will be accountable for managing shipping and receiving operations, coordinating transportation methods, and optimizing logistics processes to guarantee timely deliveries while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Your work will contribute to maintaining a seamless flow of materials and products, meeting customer expectations, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.

You will report directly to our Shipping & Receiving Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations, ensuring timely deliveries, minimizing operational expenses, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail and ability to coordinate logistics processes will directly contribute to the success and performance-driven nature of our organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. • Coordinate transportation methods and select cost-effective options. • Optimize logistics processes to minimize guide times and reduce transportation costs. • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of distribution processes. • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain a performance-driven edge. • Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory levels.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving operations or related roles. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent. • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management ethics. • Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems. • Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.). • Continuous improvement mindset.
