Wells Fargo Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant - Real Estate Valuation Services in PHOENIX, Arizona

About this role :

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant to support the Real Estate Valuation Services Team. This person will identify business needs, analyze problem(s) in need of systemic solutions, conduct information gathering workshops, collaborate and gain buy-in to define minimum viable product with detailed user stories and thorough acceptance criteria (requirements). Review and implement solutions ensuring the intended value was achieved. Establish objectives and milestones for companywide/business systems integrated with technology development and infrastructure. Work with the third-party application vendor to advocate for developing & implementing technical strategies and data solutions to meet the business, industry, and company needs.

In this role, you will :

  • Make decisions in moderately complex and multifaceted situations requiring deep understanding of the businesses use of technology applications, risk appetite/tolerance, and business controls, which may influence companywide technology solutions.

  • Act as a liaison between the business, technical organization, and third-party application vendor by planning, conducting, and completing analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated solutions.

  • Be a change champion improving process and procedures by introducing cost effective, efficiency and compliant systemic solutions.

  • Collaborate as a key business participant by providing strategic ideas and implementing systemic features in support of REVS and company-wide technology & process initiatives.

  • Evaluate moderately complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives.

  • Work with business sponsors to answer questions, seek to understand the challenges, assess technology needs & gaps, and provide recommendations for resolution.

  • Perform impact analysis, using critical thinking to holistically understand the effects and risk associated with the proposed change(s).

  • Draft problem statements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scripts, and other various project/work effort documentation.

  • Adhere to Technology Change Management policies and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

  • Work on projects and manage to the milestone(s) and timelines to meet the deliverables.

  • Serve as an escalation point for moderately complex issues, mentoring others with less knowledge and understanding.

  • Provide timely and detailed communication of production issues and system enhancements.

  • Implement AGILE methodology ensuring rapid delivery of automated solutions in coordination with a Third-party application vendor and other internal stakeholders.

  • Participant and support the Change Control & prioritization process for primary applications used by the Real Estate Valuation Services teams.

  • Building and maintaining collaborative partnerships with both internal and external business partners.

  • Foster strong communication and information flow between business and technology support team(s).

  • Provide direction and/or guidance to less experienced team members.

Locations: North Black Canyon Highway, Phoenix, AZ

A relocation package is not available for this position.

Required Qualifications, US :

  • 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualification :

  • Product owner experience.

  • Knowledge and experience in Agile methodology.

  • CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), A-CSPO (Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner) or CSP-OP (Certified Scrum Professional Product Owner) certification.

  • Experience in Real Estate industry.

  • Experience with change management and data/reporting applications such as Tableau, SQL, JIRA, Octane, and/or ServiceNow.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate, develop, and enhance processes for maximum efficiencies.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.

  • Demonstrated success in a complex and matrixed environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to validate work & lead without authority. Receive & provide feedback to support professional development.

  • Self-motivated, capable of working effectively both independently and in a team environment.

  • Well-developed organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.

  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations.

  • Facilitation skills, including the ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities.

Job Expectations:

  • Work the hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote each week.

Position is not VISA eligible.
