Honeywell's Anthem™️ is breaking new ground in Avionics design and the pilot-machine interface, with the goal of making pilots’ jobs easier and safer and essentially allowing pilots to configure their own cockpit based on mission and phase of flight.

We are seeking Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer to join our team in building the next generation Avionics platforms systems requirements and functional deliveries. The product you will be working on new generation architecture platform. You will be responsible for requirement analysis, compliance analysis, be part of the certification tasks, verification, and validation of systems requirements to meet certification needs for the platform. You will be coached and mentored by senior engineers to you grow your systems skills through relevant and challenging on the job opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements analysis

  • Requirements decomposition to develop and trace test requirements

  • Model based development system design

  • Systems integration

  • Systems validation & verification

  • Customer interaction

  • Budget/schedule responsibility

  • Compliance analysis for certification

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience

  • 10+ years of Embedded Systems experience

WE VALUE

  • Advanced knowledge of the systems development lifecycle

  • Experience with computing Platforms, Input/Output functions and SW/HW interfaces

  • Knowledge of avionics products and their development lifecycle

  • Knowledge of Compliance analyses and certification aspects

  • Part of working in diverse and global team environment

  • ARP4754A knowledge

  • Safety analysis

  • Experience developing avionics systems requirements and utilization of requirements management tools such as DOORS/DOORSNG

  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.

  • Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks and people
