The Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak is looking for a Seasonal Lobby Bartender in our South Tower of the Resort to join our amazing Team!

Hours: PM Shifts - Thursday, Friday and Saturday, including holidays

Our Seasonal Positions are from February 2025 - September 2025

Lobby Bartender takes part in servicing  our guests around our beautiful Resort.  This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner resulting in an extremely high level of guest satisfaction.  If you are outgoing and are looking for great benefits, please join our Amazing Team!

To mix and serve beverages and/or food to the guests in a friendly, courteous and timely and manner, resulting in guest satisfaction, and to act as cashier for the Lobby bar.

Supportive Functions

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Attend mandatory meetings.

  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.

  • Keep work area clean and organized.

  • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor such as assisting security with disorderly guests.

  • Must adhere to all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to insure all laws are being followed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to communicate in English.  Self-starting personality with an even disposition.  Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests.  Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.  Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.  Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes.  Sufficient manual dexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead to retrieve stock.  Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.  Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a check.  Ability to stand and work in confined spaces and in extreme temperature ranges for long periods of time for long periods of time.  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons. Sufficient strength to lift, load, and transport product weighing up to 20 lb. from storage facility to Lobby location.
