Actalent Safety Manager in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Title: Safety ManagerJob Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a Safety Manager to join our team. This position is open due to the previous incumbent's transition to another company, and is available for immediate start. The role involves supporting multiple construction projects from design through to build and commissioning. The Safety Manager will provide field safety oversight on construction sites and future state facilities, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Additionally, the role includes developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies and procedures, conducting contractor safety reviews, and leading incident investigations. The successful candidate will also standardize safety policies, perform job-site inspections, and audit safety procedures.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona.

Work Environment

This role is primarily field-based, with approximately 70% of time spent in the field and 30% in the office. Initial onboarding and training will take place at the Phoenix office for the first 6 months. Travel thereafter will depend on workload. A company vehicle will be provided.
