100% REMOTE - AZ core business hours - No Travel Essential Key Job Responsibilities

  • 3-4 years job related experience.

  • Defines project scope, objectives, key resources, budget, and project plan supporting one (large) or more (low-medium) projects.

  • Measuring project performance, reporting, and escalating in support of one (large) or more (low-medium) projects.

  • Leads one complex or more (low-medium) intermediate projects.

  • Effectively applies the organization’s project management methodology and tools and enforces Cyber Portfolio Best Practices and project standards.

  • Follows the organization and Cyber Portfolio financial and accounting standards to manage a budget with some oversight.

  • Monitors and prepares reports to ensure work is progressing to meet the deliverables on time and under budget.

  • Manages delivery of one or more medium or intermediate complexity capital and non-capital IT projects simultaneously.

  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope.

  • Supports and participates in in-flight reviews, lessons learned sessions, and quality assurance procedures.

  • Proactively identifies, manages, and minimizes the organization’s exposure and risk on projects.

  • Solves conflicts and issues promptly, escalating to Sr. PM or Program Manager as appropriate.

  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to Cyber managers and stakeholders, and if requested, to leadership, including but not limited to sponsors.

  • Provides leadership to Associate Project Managers or Analysts.

  • Provides leadership to multi-disciplinary teams, as well as third-party consultants with limited manager oversight.

  • Responsible for aligning project activities and deliverables with third-party consultants and related Statements of Work (SOWs) with some assistance.

  • Supports the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.

  • Contributes to professional development goals, Cyber Portfolio annual goals, and continuous improvement.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Possess an understanding of project management phases, techniques, and tools.

• Possess strong project management skills, including issue and risk management.

• Proven problem-solving, process analysis, and root cause analysis abilities.

• Identification with and support of the mission and values of the organization and its sponsors.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in a complex and matrixed team environment.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines.

• Skills in Microsoft project, word, excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• A passionate desire to grow, learn, and advance.

• Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and s system design.

• Understand internet, intranet, extranet, and client/server architectures.

• Possess quality presentation skills and experience in presenting complex plans and designs to senior and mid-level management.

• Successful tactical plans definition and rollout of tools and services with high customer satisfaction feedback.

• Ability to effectively manage time and deliver in a highly varied and matrixed environment.

Education:

Bachelors - Preferred

Certifications:

1 or more relevant technical/professional security certifications preferred
