Honeywell Program Development Director in Phoenix, Arizona

As a Program Development Director at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing a team of Development Sr. Program Managers and growing our customer relationship with multiple defense original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for military aircraft. You will play a critical role in driving the strategic growth and success of pursuits by ensuring the development and execution of comprehensive program development plans and strategies. Your leadership and expertise in program development will enable you to build strong relationships with customers and provide innovative solutions to meet their evolving program needs. By guiding and mentoring your team, you will foster a culture of excellence and drive outstanding program execution, positioning the company as a market leader and trusted partner.

You will report directly to the Senior Director of the Defense OEM Advanced Program and New Pursuit Team, and you'll work out of a Honeywell location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the business by leading your team toward developing and executing program development plans, driving revenue growth through proper baseline change management, and maximizing customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions to program challenges and ensure the success of our customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure development and execution of program development plans to drive revenue growth, flawless execution, on-time delivery, and maximize customer satisfaction ‘

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing innovative solutions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine value-added solutions to programmatic problems while ensuring customer success Lead and mentor a team of Sr. Program Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

  • Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities for program expansion or adjacent expansion.

  • At least 25% travel anticipated

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in program development roles

  • 5+ experience working with or for defense OEM

  • 3+ years of experience running USAF military aircraft programs

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role

  • Must be a US Citizen with an active security clearance
