EXOS Onboarding Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a personable and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to join the Exos People Operations team! This is a hybrid role, based in the greater NY/NJ area or Phoenix, AZ, reporting to the People Operations Business Partner & Onboarding Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a relationship with each new hire to facilitate their cultural assimilation.

  • Serve as the key point of contact for each new hire and triage all questions that arise.

  • Work collaboratively with hiring managers to on-board all new employees.

  • Send out offer letters and employment agreements, set up required pre-employment testing/checks and track results (i.e. background, drug, SSA, NSOR, I-9), and send confirmation emails to hiring managers that new hires can begin working.

  • Enter all new hires into payroll.

  • Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to accurately classify and set-up each new hire in the HRM System.

  • Create electronic employee files for all employees.

  • Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Highly organized

  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility for tasks and assignments to meet deadlines - you perform well under pressure!

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Hard working and energetic personality

  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office software

  • A passion for sports, fitness, or a high-performance lifestyle is a plus!

  • Detail-oriented problem solving skills

Residents of California, Colorado, New York, and Washington: Per pay transparency requirements, the hourly compensation for this position ranges from $17 to $19. Pay is dependent on factors including location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs.
