U-Haul Network Security Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona

Oxford Life is seeking an Information Security Analysts to work in our growing IT Security team. You will monitor our computer networks for security issues, install security software, and document any security issues or breaches you find. To do well in this role you should have a bachelor's degree in computer science and experience in the information security field. An information security analyst is also responsible for testing networks and systems to identify areas that need improved security measures.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor and remediate any threats to our infrastructure

· Create awareness programs that encourage end-users to report suspected cybersecurity issues and avoid attacks (e.g., simulated phishing campaigns)

· Manage security compliance tools

· Manage security compliance activities

· Monitor computer networks for security issues.

· Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.

· Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.

· Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.

· Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.

· Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard.

· Develop company-wide best practices for IT security.

· Perform penetration testing.

· Other duties as assigned

· Stay current on breach and malware discovery

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Knowledge in Ransomware, Phishing.

cybersecurity management software

· Prior experience in SOC 2 audit, penetration testing.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Must be able to perform in a team-orientated, deadline-driven environment.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or combination of education and experience.

· Experience in information security or related field.

· Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.

· Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.

· Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.

· Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
