Insight Global Medical Case Investigator in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Description

This candidate will be performing and conducting investigations of allegations against allopathic physicians and physician assistants licensed in Arizona, with an emphasis on billing complaints, and quality of care complaints, in addition to other professional conduct violations. Matters investigated include sensitive issues such as substance abuse and sexual misconduct. Duties that are equivalent to a paralegal, including, preparing and serving subpoenas, case reports, and presenting cases before the Arizona Medical Board. Testifying before the Office of Administration Hearings. Prioritizing. planning, organizing, and conducting investigations, including investigational interviews and site inspections. Interpreting statutes and rules.

Skills and Requirements

  • Experience reading and interpreting medical records (preferably EMRs and Paper records)

  • Report writing experience

  • Knowledge of medical terminology / medical jargon

  • Admin background

  • Experience with reviewing medical records - Experience conducting research

  • Experience with Adobe - bookmarking, combining, ordering, track changes, etc

  • Worked in compliance or risk department

  • Clinic work null
