About the Role:

As a CBRE Healthcare Consulting Intern, you will work on projects related to Management Consulting, Ambulatory Network Planning, or Transition and Activation Services. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience, opportunities to learn about the business, make industry connections, and develop both hard and soft skills relevant to healthcare consulting. The internship duration is a maximum of 400 hours.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with a mentor to gain practical experience in healthcare consulting.

  • Assist with research projects, attend team meetings, and contribute to the creation of presentations and resources applied by various service lines. .

  • Work with internal and external teams on special projects and requests.

  • Participate in company networking events, workshops, and online seminars.

Dependent on Service Line Placement the intern will:

  • Aid in the planning of healthcare facility transitions and activations. Assist with project management tasks, stakeholder coordination, and the development of resources to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to patient care.

  • Contribute to the planning and optimization of outpatient care networks. Help analyze patient demographics, service utilization, and geographic distribution to advise network expansion and prioritization.

  • Support the analysis of healthcare operations and strategic planning. Assist in developing resources to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance patient care.

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college program.

  • Ability to optimally communicate.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.

  • Personal initiative to improve skills relative to job function.

  • Ability to adapt and prioritize workload in the face of changing demands.

  • Basic data analysis skills.

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the internship position is $23.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the internship position is $25.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
