IQVIA Global Head and VP, Clinical Site Networks in Phoenix, Arizona
JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
IQVIA, a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions and contract research services to the life sciences industry, is looking for a Global Head and VP, Clinical Site Networks to lead and support its Clinical Site Management Organization (Avacare). Avacare consists of both embedded and dedicated sites across various therapeutic areas, offering a proven, turnkey clinical research infrastructure powered by technology and expertise around recruitment, operations, monitoring and compliance.
The Global Head and VP, Clinical Site Networks will be responsible for the following main duties:
Responsible for Site Network Organization P&L, which supervises a team of approximately 400+ employees across regions and countries.
Defining and executing the strategy for the Global Site Network Organization, ensuring alignment with the broader R&DS goals and driving new business opportunities for revenue growth and financial success.
Providing support to expand the Clinical Site Network Group and liaising with Business Development to enable sales and new business goals. Also actively participating in key proposal and bid defense meetings.
Formulating effective strategic goals for Site Network operations and providing executive leadership for Site Network teams when necessary to overcome project-related challenges and achieve exemplary customer service.
Driving innovation and technology transformation within the Site Network Organization, ensuring alignment with the market needs and customer expectations.
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, site network teams, internal functions, and external partners. Acting as a senior escalation point for any project-related issues and ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Managing staff in accordance with IQVIA’s policies and applicable regulations. Developing managers within areas of accountability to develop staff through career progression goals and strategic departmental and corporate priorities.
Providing leadership for Site Network marketing and global sales activities, promoting the value proposition and competitive advantage of the Site Network Organization.
Driving quality or process improvement initiatives related to corporate or departmental strategic plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical research area leading large multi-disciplinary teams with a strong general management/P&L focus. Previous experience in the management of Site Networks and Business Development is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will also have strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for innovation and excellence.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $203,200.00 - $377,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
