Position Summary

As the Client Implementations Executive Director, you will lead a business segment of Client Implementations for the Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) side of CVS, and provide strategic partnering across the Operations, IT, and Sales organizations as it relates to Implementations and other key strategic initiatives. You will be the leader for these initiatives as it relates to how Implementations should be planned and executed; over time, such advice should be codified into implementations best practices and project plans. You will also be required to:

Build, grow, and lead a team of leaders. Focus areas will be tied to at minimum, client service, quality management, and instituting an engaging growth mindset.

  • Ensure that the accountability of all implementation activities are exceeded, created a culture of clients and members that are delighted to work with us. Ensure the utilization of tools, procedures, and Heart at Work Behaviors are demonstrated in all facets of what your leaders and their teams do.

  • Be the top level of advocacy for the clients and implementations that you are responsible for. Ensure that each implementation is executed with a seamless member experience, within budget, and meets the continued growing needs of CVS Caremark and CVS Health as a whole.

The successful Client Implementations Executive Director will effectively structure the Implementations team, adjusting it as needed to serve the changing needs of the organization. This position requires you to be visible and deeply interactive with our senior leadership through updates on strategic initiatives, risks, issues, and projects. The contributions you will make as a Client Implementations Executive Director will position CVS Health as a leader in client satisfaction and service in the PBM marketplace.

Typically, this position is located in our Scottsdale, AZ; Irving, TX; or Northbrook, IL office locations. Travel up to 30% is required during peak seasons (traditionally October-January).

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience within healthcare operations, with a focus on PBM/health plans, benefits, and client relationship management/client implementations.

  • 7+ years with proven skills leading large teams.

  • 7+ years of experience managing complex projects, resource management, and working cross-functionally.

  • Must be adaptable and flexible with travel up to 10%-30%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Project Management is strongly preferred.

  • Master’s Degree is strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree required; equivalent work experience may substitute.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$131,500.00 - $303,195.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
