POSITION SUMMARY
The Events and Fundraising Manager will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and coordinating company events, including town halls, employee appreciation events, and fundraising events. The Events and Fundraising manager will also be responsible for developing new fundraising and philanthropy projects for Adelante Healthcare, expanding our reach within the community and bringing in new outside donations for the organization.

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Non-Profit preferred
Three (3) years of experience in creating corporate events, marketing, and project management
Experience with project management software and tools
Experience with vendor management
Prioritization and multi-task skills are required
Competency in working with people of various cultures
Ability to perform a variety of assignments requiring considerable exercise of independent judgment
POSITION REPONSIBILITIES
Bring innovation and new ideas to existing project management processes.
Responsible for defining scope of work with the client, planning the workload for marketing team, and quality assurance based on fundamental project management practices.
Assist stakeholders in defining philanthropy scope and goals.
Collaborate with several teams and leadership partners to develop and execute organizational events
Develop partnerships and business with organizations and individuals investors that can assist in reaching philanthropy goals
Maintain partnerships with external vendors
Manage ongoing events and projects, ensuring that progress is reported within project management systems
Plan and complete projects on time, on budget, and within scope
Develop, build, and maintain donor data base

Event Planning and Management
Plan and Execute Events: Coordinate logistics, budgets, themes, and timelines for events such as galas, auctions, campaigns, and community outreach activities.
Venue and Vendor Coordination: Negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, and other service providers to ensure high-quality events within budget.
Marketing and Promotion: Develop promotional materials, manage event-related social media and email campaigns, and collaborate with marketing teams to increase attendance and engagement.
Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for event execution.
Fund Development
Donor Cultivation: Identify and build relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners through personalized outreach and networking.
Grant Writing and Proposals: Research and prepare grant applications to secure funding from foundations and other entities.
Sponsorship Management: Develop sponsorship packages and secure corporate and community sponsorships for events and programs.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of donors and contributions using fundraising software or CRM platforms.
Strategic Planning and Reporting
Develop Fundraising Strategies: Create and implement annual fundraising plans aligned with the organization's financial goals.
Budget Management: Monitor fundraising budgets, track expenses, and report financial outcomes to stakeholders.
Evaluation and Reporting: Analyze event success and fundraising efforts, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all fundraising activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement
Build Community Partnerships: Establish relationships with community leaders, organizations, and businesses to enhance the organization's visibility and reach.
Public Speaking and Representation: Represent the organization at events, speaking engagements, and meetings to promote its mission and values.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time when traveling to various clinic sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be subject to health hazards (contagious diseases, blood borne pathogens, etc.) when working in the clinic area.
