Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization. EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Director of Enterprise BI Tools will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Business Intelligence (BI) strategy in collaboration with stakeholders. The incumbent will oversee the selection, implementation, and management of BI tools and technologies, ensuring data governance and quality, and delivering BI solutions that meet business requirements. The Director of Enterprise BI Tools will also be responsible for leading the implementation of emerging technologies, such as Generative AI for analytics, and driving the adoption of innovative solutions to enhance business decision-making. Overall, the Director of Enterprise BI Tools will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making, driving business growth, and staying ahead of the curve in terms of emerging technologies and trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Enterprise BI Tooling Strategy that aligns with organizational goals and objectives

  • Collaborate with senior leadership, customers, and partners to identify business needs and define requirements for BI tooling solutions

  • Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy BI tooling solutions that meet business requirements

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive business outcomes and identify new opportunities for growth

  • Develop and manage business cases, ROI analyses, and other supporting documentation to justify investments in BI tooling solutions

  • Design and implement controls and monitoring mechanisms to ensure compliance, data quality, security, and integrity

  • Manage external BI vendor (such as Tableau, Power BI) relationships and ensure compliance to the permissible usage agreements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; experience in the convenience retail and/or hospitality industry preferred.

  • 8 years of experience in analytics, and business intelligence, with a proven track record of leading data initiatives at an enterprise or line of business level.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into strategic business recommendations. Strong problem-solving skills and experience in driving business results.

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and advanced analytics techniques.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams. Prior people leadership experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for business stakeholders.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
