Overview

Terros Health is pleased to share an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Crisis Support Specialist.

The Crisis Support Specialist is responsible for completing tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of the Mobile Crisis department.

Terros Health’s Mobile Crisis teams provide behavioral health, prevention, education and crisis stabilization services. They serve children, adolescents, adults, senior adults and families as well as schools, neighborhoods, organizations and businesses by providing phone, walk-in and in-home crisis counseling to clients to facilitate immediate stabilization of emotions and behavior. Candidates should be organized, detailed-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills are required. Individual must be able to work in a culturally diverse population. Confidentially shall be maintained during and after employment.

Responsibilities

Terros Health (http://www.terroshealth.org) is now hiring for a Crisis Support Specialist.

Full-Time Employment

30 hour shift available

Shift: Sunday - Tuesday

New Hire Sign On Bonus: $2,000

Competitive Compensation

(Evening and Weekend shift differentials available)

Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS (Additional Language Differential is Available)

The Crisis Support Specialist is responsible for the following tasks. They include, but are not limited to, processing client records from enrollment to closure, scheduling crisis staff, maintaining inventory of equipment as well as various administrative reports and activities.

This role is a non-driving position

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED and six weeks of behavioral health work experience.

  • Proficiency using computer-based systems including electronic health records (NexGen preferred), Microsoft Outlook, and other Microsoft Office products.

  • Work eight (10) consecutive hours or longer, and/or past scheduled shift, if clinical or administrative needs arise.

  • Must have or be able to attain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days of assuming role.

  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card within 7 working days of employment
