BAE Systems Composite Technician I in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Description

The Composite Assembler/Fabricator performs production-related activities by putting together a wide range of Composite Materials (fibrous, rubber, plastics and alloys) from simple to complex subassemblies and assemblies using common hand and/or power tools for cutting and trimming per work order guidelines and shop instruction/illustrations. Must be able to pass a respirator physical test and work with release agents, sealants, solvents, adhesives and resins without having any allergic reactions or breathing issues. The work is performed in a moderate to fast paced environment, is repetitive in nature, is detailed, requires critical adherence to established quality levels while completing within timeframe and workspace allowed for the assigned task. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • High school graduate or GED.

  • Must be attentive to details.

  • Must be able to stand for 10 hour shifts.

  • Must be able to use measuring tools, scales, and calipers.

  • Must adhere to all Company Safety Policies and Procedures.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Composite Assemble experience.

  • Composite fabrication experience a plus.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $34600 - $55400

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
