Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Billing Clerk, based in Phoenix, Arizona. You will be functioning in a hybrid workplace, where you will be required to work in our billing offices between 1 and 3 days per week. Your role will be critical in handling customer accounts, creating invoices, and ensuring the accuracy of customer receivables in our industry. Daily working hours: 7:00 am- 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
• Execute customer data integrity checks and investigate questionable items to ensure billing accuracy.
• Work as part of a team responsible for creating invoices, with guidance provided when necessary.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and validation of customer revenue, with the support of more experienced team members.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of our billing system to enable the creation of invoices.
• Review and analyze customer accounts to ensure transactions are correctly billed.
• Process customer refund requests and billing adjustments as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to learn how to research and take action to resolve customer credit balances.
• Create and revise manual invoices when required.
• Research and resolve customer issues related to billing.
• Adhere to all SOX required controls.
Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service and Communication Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in Training and Supervising teams
• Hands-on experience with Invoice processing and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to conduct Research and Research Analysis
• Knowledge of Finance and Billing processes
• Experience in Check Processing and Revenue Accounting
• Ability to execute tasks with precision and maintain Data Integrity
• Proficient in the use of About Time software
• Strong 10 Key Skills
• Experience in handling Customer Account and Refund Requests
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Ability to work Onsite
• Familiarity with Validation Plans and ability to handle Customer Invoices
• Experience in making Adjustments in billing and accounts.
