This job was posted by https://www.azjobconnection.gov : For more information, please see: https://www.azjobconnection.gov/jobs/6643982 This position is responsible for supporting the Category Management team in analysis of product assortment, price change analysis, item setups, and promotion execution. In addition to these functions, this key position will oversee and administer the information within the organizations systems (SMS).

Essential Duties:

Manage the end-to-end execution of the monthly promotional activities.

Assist with product assortment reviews and analysis, identifying top-performing SKUs

Work with Store Managers to gather market pricing intelligence on competitive products

Develop knowledge base in assigned categories with the goal of becoming a subject matter expert

Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications:

Four-year college degree in business or related field preferred.

1-2 years of relevant experience of foodservice or retail experience or equivalent in the area of merchandising, category management, and/or marketing

Experience with one or more of the following programs Power BI, Adage, SMS, or other retail POS backend system

Solid quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to work in a team setting.

Strong verbal, written and presentation skills

Proficiency required in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point as well as Microsoft Outlook; Prior experience with Microsoft Access would be beneficial
