As a Project Engineer 1 here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will be responsible for supporting, managing and executing engineering projects on the Military Fixed Wing (MFW) team. Be part of a team that drives the development and delivery of innovative propulsion engine solutions, specifically for F124 and F125 Turbofan Engines product families. You will work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

You will report directly to our Program Engineering Manager and work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the chance to learn and develop your skills in engineering design, project engineering, and problem-solving. You will have the opportunity to partner with world class engineers and leaders, making an impact on the success our projects by ensuring timely delivery, supporting project planning and coordination, managing project risks, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Manage and execute engineering projects within the Military Fixed Wing (MFW) team for propulsion engine product lines.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies

  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

  • Learn and apply engineering ethics and best practices

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • Strong desire to learn, grow, improve skills and be a part of a team
