OVERALL OBJECTIVE & PURPOSE

Reporting to the Business Operations Supervisor, the Business Operations Coordinator will support the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the assigned site and Lottery-managed retail store, ensuring business profitability, operational efficiencies and collaborator engagement (internal and external).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Is an ambassador for our company, actively participating and supporting company activities, events and employee volunteerism initiatives

  • Enables an environment of professional, innovative, timely, efficient service levels across the business

  • Coordinates the day-to-day operations and administrative responsibilities of the site, ensuring the business is operated efficiently, successfully and in compliance with company goals, policies, procedures, critical metrics and budgets

  • Liaises with internal and external partners to ensure the timely delivery and execution of administrative and operational requirements to support the site, maintaining a high level of confidentiality, professionalism and approach demonstrative of the IGT values

  • Coordinates, drives and follows up on site activities, including but not limited to projects, initiatives, meetings, corporate functions, promotions, employee engagement activities, ASA and sponsored initiatives, general partnerships, retail stores activations, etc., ensuring delivery within time and budget

  • Closely monitors, reports and recommends timely solutions to micro and macro developments (including competitor activity)

  • Ensures company’s databases/ filing/ archiving systems are up-to-date and in compliance with company processes

  • Ensures business operates in compliance with Anti-Money Laundering regulations and raises to management (as required)

  • Prepares, coordinates and distributes internal and external reports, correspondence, policies, processes and other miscellaneous requirements

  • Assists in the coordination and reconciliation of site purchasing processes (where applicable), including PR preparation and recording, invoice tracking, budget reconciliation

  • Management and tracking of various site inventory, including stationery, general housekeeping, kitchen and medical supplies, branded promotional items and give always etc.

  • Collects, reviews, sorts, and distributes incoming and outgoing correspondence (including physical and electronic), packages, freight etc.,

  • Ensures the Lottery Managed Store is represented and functions as the model Lottery agent location, through proactive, sustained, consistent execution and delivery of industry standard methodologies, backed by a high level of professionalism and customer first approach

  • Works alongside various departments and partners to handle and minimize bad debts, AR issues and other risks to the business

  • Recommends, coordinates, implements and reports on activities and initiatives to facilitate site goals, critical metrics, sales and market growth including but not limited to game launches, promotions, events, research, etc.

  • Responsible for the timely opening and closing of the Lottery Managed Store

  • Facilitates the daily reconciliation and balancing of the Lottery Managed Store sales/ agent deposits/ other incomes

  • Daily verification, recording and coordination of bank deposits

  • Supports sales, prize processing, winner engagement, agent payment and other transactions at Lottery Managed Store (as required)

  • Coordinates the successful execution of sales promotions and activities at Lottery Managed store and Lottery agent locations

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in business, office, and customer service environments

Crucial requirements

  • The candidate must be able to work and live in Sint Maarten

  • Moderate Digital Literacy skills, with experience using MS Office programs (including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Demonstrated ability to function and successfully get results in a dynamic, competitive, fast-paced environment, with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams and partners (internal and external)

  • Highly professional demeanour with strong communication skills (verbal, written)

  • Focused, well-adapted and self-motivated, maintaining a solutions -focused approach
