JOB SUMMARY: The VP, Finance - Global Data Office role will lead all Strategic Financial Planning, Forecasting and Analysis for the Global Data Office, a $265M proforma budget which includes 130M of direct spend and 135M of indirect spend. This role will directly partner with Chubb's Global Data Officer and his leadership team to provide financial insight to accomplish their strategic priorities, which include making data available real time for business decisions, including the global Ingestion program. The VP will be highly involved in the financial aspects of the multi-year Data group business strategy in line with Chubb's digital transformation and will partner closely with the Transformation Financial Officer. It is also critical to ensure a strong team is in place to drive outcomes required and to collaborate across various functional organizations and the segment CFOs to ensure alignment and to support execution. Reporting and analytics from this team will be shared in various formats directly with the CEO and Executive Committee. The role will report to the CFO Operations and Technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Financial Strategy Development * Collaborate closely with the Global Data Officer and other Technology, Finance, and Data leaders to develop the company's overall Data strategy. * Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment between financial goals and technology initiatives.

Lead Financial Strategic and Annual Planning and Forecasting: * Coordinate and drive the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Data group. * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather inputs, analyze data, and prepare accurate and comprehensive financial plans and forecasts. * Identify and communicate key financial risks and opportunities to drive better decision-making.

Financial Reporting and Variance Analysis: * Analyze and distribute timely and accurate financial reports, including variance analysis, to provide insights into financial performance. * Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and explain variances and provide recommendations for improvement.

Proforma Reporting and Analysis * Track and report on the entire Data Proforma, which is 260M of spend, both direct and indirect * Collaborate with stakeholders, including North America and COG CFO Teams, to gather financial information and conduct analysis. * Report on cost savings, reinvestment, and incremental spending across the total data universe

Decision Support: * Partner with Data leaders to ensure their understanding of financials and support them in making informed decisions. * Provide financial analysis, modeling, and insights to aid in decision-making processes including business cases, investment analysis, and resource allocation.

Governance/Other * Ensure correct accounting policies are followed, in collaboration with Global Controller * Analyze and review Clarity reporting * Ensure Data group is in compliance with all technology finance policies

QUALIFICATIONS Skills and Requirements:  * 12+ years' experience in a finance role with increasing responsibilities * Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or similar field; MBA/CPA preferred * Strong proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. * Experience in financial analysis, modeling, reporting, and variance analysis. * Knowledge of cost benefit analysis and project financial performance reporting. * Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of business strategies as well as technology and data initiatives. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. * Advanced proficiency in financial software systems. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. * Demonstrated success in an agile rapidly changing environment * Demonstrated ability to work independently, make decisions and complete tasks with limited information  * Self-starter and proactive with an aptitude for process improvement
