EPAM Systems Temporary Lead Content Strategist (Remote) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Are you ready to make a tangible impact on a high-stakes digital transformation? We’re looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Content Strategist to join our team for an exciting 4-month opportunity. In this role, you will assist in the completion of content modeling for a website being built in a headless CMS, and support a successful migration of content. You will be responsible for creating structured content models that adhere to best practices for a headless CMS architecture and optimized for search engines. You will work closely with the design and development teams, and content creators to ensure that content is structured and organized effectively within the CMS.

Responsibilities
Develop content models for the website based on project requirements, business goals, and SEO best practices
Provide developers with content type requirements for development in the CMS
Ensure that content is structured in a way that is consistent, scalable, and easily maintainable
Partner with content managers to define content types, fields, and relationships within the CMS
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that content models are accurate
Provide guidance and support to the client’s content team on best practices for content modeling in a headless CMS environment
Support content migration through mapping current state content to new content types; and defining and documenting 301 URL redirects (Excel) to ensure user experience continuity post-migration
Requirements
Proven experience in content strategy, content management, or similar roles with a focus on structured content
Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS), with hands-on experience in headless CMS being highly preferred
Proven ability to identify, define, and document content types for headless CMS
Experience in working on complex digital projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage expectations effectively
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying issues and providing timely resolutions
Knowledge of agile methodologies or experience working in sprint-based project environments is a plus

This posting includes a good faith range of the salary EPAM would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. The range provided reflects base salary only. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, experience, credentials, education, training; the demand for the role; and overall business and labor market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: $60 - $65 per hour.
