Clario (Philadelphia, PA) to be responsible for developing, deploying and maintaining software applications according to the study specifications; integrating the acquired device data with the backend project specific databases; participating in decision making of the development life cycle of clinical trial study data collection applications; maintaining coding guidelines and training less experienced engineers on study development best practices; providing peer reviews of low, moderate and high complexity code developed by other engineers; acting as a negotiator by reaching the appropriate resolution on study team issues with timelines, schedules, technical changes, etc.; investigating technical support issues as a last line of defense to resolve technical problems in delivery and/or production; overseeing the team's productivity and collective impact; providing leadership to employees, addressing wide impact technical, resource, and personnel issues; overseeing the career development of others, understanding their career goals and aligning their work and experience to achieve their goals and meet the Company's needs; overseeing new employee onboarding and providing support as needed; empowering employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals; and delegating responsibility and expects accountability and regular feedback. Must hold a Master's degree in Computer Sciences or a related field or a Bachelor's in Computer Sciences, together with five (5) years of progressively responsible past experience in software development in the position offered or related. Must know (through academic training or work experience) writing SQL; JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON; and web development.
