Description

We are seeking a Tax, Senior Manager to join our client's team in the Great Philadelphia area. The successful Tax Manager candidate will engage with clients, take ownership of tax planning and compliance, deliver service excellence, lead, grow the business, and develop in the realm of tax legislation. This role is within the public sector.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strong, trusting relationships with clients while preparing personal and entity tax returns

• Provide proactive service-focused tax planning and compliance to clients

• Perform various aspects of tax compliance, projections, preparing responses to tax notices, assistance with special projects

• Ensure that all clients’ tax returns are prepared accurately, completely, and timely

• Demonstrate advanced technical skills in a variety of tax and accounting areas and proactively coach and mentor more junior associates

• Develop new client contacts and marketing relationships and look for opportunities to increase our service offerings to existing clients

• Remain current on new legislation and consistently perform tax research

• Share new information with colleagues and clients, and schedule periodic tax research training

  Requirements

The ideal Tax, Senior Manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA preferred.

Other requirements for the Tax, Senior Manager position include and are not limited to:

• 8+ years of relevant experience at a Public Accounting Experience

• Good verbal and written communications

• Strong analytical and accounting skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel)
