Robert Half is on the hunt for a Staff Accountant to join our client's powerhouse manufacturing team! Based in the bustling heart of Philadelphia,, this role is your chance to take charge of financial records, manage customer inquiries with finesse, and monitor accounts with precision. As a key player on our team, you’ll ensure seamless and accurate processing of customer applications and financial data—helping us drive success at full throttle!

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts receivable, processing an average of 10 invoices daily

• Manage accounts payable, also processing around 10 invoices daily

• Administer payroll for a workforce of approximately 65 employees, ensuring timely and accurate distribution

• Oversee the implementation of a new ERP system by the end of the year

• Contribute valuable input from experience with systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, Dynamic, Netsuite, etc.

• Maintain meticulous records on QuickBooks until the new ERP system is implemented

• Work on-site, adhering to flexible hours that align with the production team's schedule

• Conduct bank reconciliations, general ledger upkeep, and journal entries as part of month-end close procedures.

• Facilitate effective communication with our predominantly Spanish-speaking production team

  Requirements

The ideal Staff Accountant candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration.

Other requirements for the Staff Accountant position include and are not limited to:

• 2+ years of experience in Accounting.

• Strong payroll, AR, and AP experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and QuickBooks.

• Ability to plan and organize work, both collaboratively and independently.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Spanish speaking strongly preferred
